Fruit & Veg Salads with The SaladMaster Machine

HEY GUYS!!! So a while ago I blogged about eating healthy and you know, all that good stuff. Well I decided to talk about a fruit salad my mom made and how she made it. She has this salad master machine that neatly slices fruits or vegetables you want to use for your salad and with this you can slice a whole variety and amount you want. This is a link, Saladmaster Machine. All you need to do is wash your hands first <yahh> put a bowl under the cone < this is what does the slicing> so the slices fall in, then place whatever you want to slice carefully on the cones, <these come in different blade shapes> and wind the handle of the machine in an anticlockwise manner.  You have to be careful with this especially as the fruit/vegetable gets smaller so the blade does not cut you. My mom sliced some beetroot, carrots, cabbage, cucumber, apple, pear, pineapple and freshly squeezed orange juice <to prevent the apple from oxidising>

I made some vegetable salad yesterday myself and it comprised of some carrots, avocado <my love>, onions <I really don’t like them but mom said to so yeah>, tomatoes, cucumber, zuchini and rocket leaves. I usually have my veg salads with Vidalia Onion Vinegarette <ze best! try it!!>. Here are some pictures I took progressively as I made the salad. And oh yeah photo cred for this: BiolaJohnson <aka the cousin>
