Pretty much on all social media platforms we can all sense the obsession with make up. From dramatic eyeshadows to nude lips, it can get pretty overwhelming but something most people struggle with is how we get rid of all that make up after a night out or at the end of the day.
Today I’d like to share with you my all-time best make up removers. I’ve been using these for years now, and they take off my make up gently and completely. They are The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil and Mary Kay Oil-Free Eye Make-Up Remover. I’m a firm believer in taking off make up before going to bed so these two come in handy after a night out.
I hate tugging on my eyes when trying to remove my eye make up especially eye liners. Over time, constant tugging causes the skin around the eyes to sag. So instead, I gently rub the Cleansing Oil first over my eyes (with them closed of course) and then all over my face, massaging in circular motion. I then rinse off my face, and on a cotton pad I gently sweep through my eyes to clean any more make up.
I must admit that it can get a bit messy sometimes but I don’t mind because these are very gentle products. Whenever I run out of the Camomile oil I easily substitute it with my coconut oil. I would always recommend using oils to remove makeup, they work great on waterproof products and leave you skin really moisturised.
Hope you found this useful!
